One Step Closer… To What, Elena?

So Elena drops the heartfelt comment: “One day closer ❤️.”

Closer to what, exactly?

  • One day closer to another “content unavailable” post?
  • One day closer to another court date that Mark will fumble through with the same excuses he’s used for a decade?
  • One day closer to the “proof” that never gets posted, the “receipts” that never exist, and the “truth” that only survives in Mark’s Facebook drafts folder?

Or maybe—just maybe—it’s one day closer to reality catching up.

Because here’s the real countdown:

  • One day closer to being called out (again) for posting nostalgic guitar pics while medical records show your “baby forever” was vomiting within hours of visits with Dad.
  • One day closer to another Rob Peters testimony moment—where people in the community remember Mark not for fatherhood, but for chaos, stolen hats, and concession-stand meals.
  • One day closer to the system you call “broken” documenting, in great detail, exactly why it had to step in to protect the kids from you.

So Elena, if you’re counting the days, at least be honest: you’re not “one day closer” to a Hallmark ending. You’re one day closer to the truth being impossible to hide, even behind your heart emojis.
