Corrected by Chaos: The Irony of Mark’s Holy Rebuke

Mark’s latest post proclaims:

“If you aren’t being corrected by the Word of God, YOU HAVE SERIOUS PROBLEMS!!!”

Let’s pause there.
Correction? From you?

What exactly does Mark believe he is?

Is he merely quoting scripture? Or is he positioning himself as the mouthpiece of God—a self-appointed prophet whose posts are no longer just opinions, but divine decrees?

Mark doesn’t just wield the Bible as a spiritual guide; he brandishes it like a sword—against everyone but himself. He doesn’t see correction as something that humbles, transforms, or reveals truth. For Mark, correction is a weapon, and he alone holds the license to use it.

His tone doesn’t suggest humility. It screams authority—not as a man under God, but as a man above reproach, claiming spiritual jurisdiction over everyone else’s lives. He believes he’s been given some unique hotline to Heaven, where instead of receiving correction, he gets promotions in the kingdom hierarchy.

This is more than spiritual arrogance. It borders on delusion.

In Mark’s theology, he is the righteous remnant, the last faithful husband, the victimized father, the persecuted prophet.
And anyone who dares correct him?

They’re deceived.
They’re rebellious.
They’re enemies of God.

It’s not that Mark can’t accept correction—it’s that he has built an entire identity around being above it.

And that’s what makes posts like this so dangerous. They’re not reflections of faith. They’re reflections of ego cloaked in scripture.

This is the same man who:

  • Rejected court-ordered psychological evaluations and instead blamed the courts for being corrupt.
  • Violated no-contact orders so often they could be their own chapter in the Bible—perhaps “The Book of Contempt.”
  • Undermined his own son’s eating disorder treatment, to the point where his son’s psychiatrist declared he lacked the capacity to make medical decisionsDr. Rao.
  • Was reported by his own child for forcing him to sign a false “contract” denying his illness—a move so destructive it undid months of progress ~Dr. Rao.

This isn’t theoretical correction—it’s documented, court-backed, medically-reviewed, real correction.

But Mark didn’t just ignore it. He tried to rewrite it. Blame others. Weaponize scripture. And post memes from his iPhone as if the Word of God was his exclusive property—like spiritual Airbnb for narcissists.

Let’s not forget the time Mark was seen wearing a stolen hat at a youth baseball game. When questioned, he gave three separate false stories about how he got it. Even his son Nathan called him out. That wasn’t correction rejected—it was correction stolen, repackaged, and gaslit into oblivion.

Or the time he brought a “guest” to a children’s basketball game who shouted profanities, threatened other parents, and disrupted the tournament so badly that the game was stopped. Mark’s response? Laughing. Filming. Smiling while the team of 11-year-olds stared at the chaos he orchestrated.

Let’s be honest:
This isn’t about correction through the Word of God.
This is about Mark’s projection through the lens of control.

He doesn’t want correction. He wants compliance.
He doesn’t want accountability. He wants applause.
He doesn’t want healing. He wants the stage.

And when the world—courts, doctors, family, and even his own children—refuse to play along?
Suddenly they’re the ones with “serious problems.”

But maybe the real problem is this:

Correction has been knocking on Mark’s door for years.
The only reason he keeps yelling about it… is because he keeps slamming the door.

Let’s take Mark’s favorite theme—“correction by the Word of God”—and actually apply it to him, using scripture in context.

Below are several verses from the Bible that speak directly to his behaviors, including hypocrisy, false teaching, spiritual arrogance, abuse, manipulation, and refusal to repent.

🧠 1. Hypocrisy and Spiritual Arrogance

Matthew 23:27 (ESV):
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but within are full of dead people’s bones and all uncleanness.”

James 3:1 (NIV):
“Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.”

Mark repeatedly puts himself in the role of a spiritual teacher—publicly posting “lessons” and warnings to others. Yet his life and behavior are filled with contradictions. If he wants to wield the Word, he must submit to its stricter judgment.

🔄 2. Refusing Correction

Proverbs 12:1 (NIV):
“Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but whoever hates correction is stupid.”

Proverbs 15:10 (ESV):
“There is severe discipline for him who forsakes the way; whoever hates reproof will die.”

Proverbs 29:1 (NIV):
“Whoever remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed—without remedy.”

Mark’s history—legal, medical, relational—is filled with correction he has rejected. Not only has he ignored it, but he defends his rebellion as righteousness. Scripture doesn’t call that discernment. It calls it stiff-necked destruction.

🎭 3. Manipulation and False Witness

Proverbs 6:16–19 (ESV):
“There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him:
haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil,
a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.”

Few passages hit harder than this one. Mark has:

  • Lied under oath and online.
  • Sowed discord between his children and their mother.
  • Publicly defamed therapists, pastors, and wives.

Each of these behaviors is explicitly called an abomination by God.

👨‍👩‍👦 4. Failing His Role as a Father

Ephesians 6:4 (NIV):
“Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.”

1 Timothy 5:8 (ESV):
“But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.”

Mark has exasperated his sons—emotionally, medically, and spiritually.
He has withheld child support. Undermined their medical care. Weaponized faith instead of modeling it. By biblical standards, this isn’t just bad parenting—it’s a denial of the faith.

🙏 5. Performing Righteousness for Applause

Matthew 6:1 (ESV):
“Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.”

His posts drip with performative piety: videos with background music, carefully curated Bible quotes, tearful selfie confessions.
Jesus says: if that’s your reward, you’ve already received it. Nothing’s left in heaven’s account.

🔥 Final Warning:

Galatians 6:7 (NIV):
“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.”

That’s the Word of God—not a meme, not a Facebook post, not a manipulated narrative. And it speaks more loudly than any verse Mark has ever posted.
