When Mark renamed his “Victorious Marriage Restoring Love” Facebook page to the melodramatic “The Church’s Affair with Deception – Sleeping with the Enemy,” it wasn’t surprising.
It was predictable.

For years, Mark has cycled through online personas—alienated father, spiritual warrior, persecuted husband, prophet, healer, victim, truth-teller—all of them crafted to shift attention away from the one thing he has never done:

Take responsibility for his own behavior.

His first public post under the new page fits perfectly into this pattern.
He presents his story as a tale of betrayal, deception, covenant-breaking, and spiritual warfare.
He claims he and his ex-wife are “still married.”
He claims she “broke the covenant.”
He claims the Church is asleep.
He claims he’s touring the Northwest to preach “truth.”

And then he delivers the line that unintentionally destroys the credibility of his entire narrative:

“Anyone can verify the truth in public records.”

He’s absolutely right—
you can verify the truth in public records.

And what those records actually show is the very thing he will never post about.

The language changes.

Weaponizing Scripture to Avoid Responsibility

Mark’s post is filled with spiritual jargon—wolves, Jezebel spirits, false prophets, covenant language.
This is not theology.
It’s camouflage.

It reframes his failures as spiritual battles.
It turns his misconduct into cosmic warfare.
It positions the woman who left an abusive marriage as a demonic adversary instead of a survivor.

This is not ministry.
