Kingdom Mind-Set or Kindergarten Spelling Bee?

There are typos… and then there are “Mark Anthony Steohens” typos.

In today’s latest masterpiece, Mark gifts us a photo of Morro Rock (yes, we see it too) captioned with:
“God’s Beuti never fades…kingdom Mind-set”

Let’s break that down.

  • “Beuti” – Perhaps meant to be beauty, but this bold remix feels more like a failed attempt at trademarking a dollar store perfume.
  • “kingdom Mind-set” – Random capitalization always helps you sound more authoritative. Especially when you’re saying nothing in particular.
  • And finally: Mark Anthony Steohens – Who is this mysterious theologian with the typo’d last name? Surely not the same Mark who’s been writing screeds about marriage restoration, exorcising his exes via hashtags, and rewriting Scripture one post at a time.

You can almost hear the TobyMac song playing in the background as a soundtrack to delusion.

To be fair, Mark might be onto something. Perhaps this is a new strategy: if your message makes no grammatical or logical sense, it can’t be argued with.

In the end, Mark’s spelling may fade, but his commitment to public confusion remains eternal. That’s the real “kingdom mindset,” right?
